Sorenstam wins U.S. Senior Girls’s Open title


FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Annika Sorenstam ran away with the U.S. Senior Girls’s Open on Sunday, closing with a 4-under 68 for an eight-stroke victory.

The 50-year-old Sorenstam, a three-time U.S. Girls’s Open champion making her first look within the senior occasion, completed at 12-under 276 at Brooklawn Nation Membership.

Enjoying companion and fellow Swede Liselotte Neumann was second, capturing a 74. She gained the 1988 U.S. Girls’s Open to turn into the primary Swedish main champion.

Laura Davies, the 2018 winner within the inaugural occasion, was third at 3 below after a 71.
