England pacer James Anderson dismissed KL Rahul on Day 3 of the continuing first Check match to overhaul former India spinner Anil Kumble to grow to be the third-highest wicket-taker in Check cricket. The 39-year-old took his tally in Exams to 621 wickets as he dismissed Shardul Thakur shortly afterwards, forward of Kumble’s 619. The veteran is behind second-placed Shane Warne (708) and Muttiah Muralitharan (800). Anderson reached the landmark after Lunch on Friday, sending Rahul again to the pavilion within the fifth supply of the 69th over.
