Former UFC light-weight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who retired from Mixed Martial Arts in last October, has signed for third-tier Russian aspect FC Legion Dynamo.
Nurmagomedov introduced his retirement following his submission victory over American Justin Gaethje on Oct. 24, his first battle following the death of his father, Abdulmanap, from issues attributable to COVID-19.

Fulfilling a promise made to his mom, the 32-year-old left the cage after a shocking run of 13 wins in eight years and knowledgeable file that includes eight knockouts and 11 submission wins in his 29 victories.
In January, Nurmagomedov revealed his intentions to transition to soccer, tweeting that he was preparing for his debut within the sport and “prepared to just accept affords”.
Legion Dynamo, who play within the third-tier Russian Skilled Soccer League and are third within the competitors this season, introduced the signing on Instagram with a photograph of Nurmagomedov shaking the hand of a membership official.
