Boston Celtics ahead Josh Richardson has agreed to a one-year, $12 million extension, his agent Invoice Duffy of BDA Sports activities advised ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Richardson had one 12 months and $11.5 million left on his deal, which now runs by the 2022-2023 season.
The Celtics acquired Richardson from the Dallas Mavericks final month through the use of the rest of the commerce exception created by the sign-and-trade deal that despatched Gordon Hayward to the Charlotte Hornets in November.
Richardson averaged 12.1 factors in 59 video games with the Mavericks final season.
