An eventful week on the recruiting path continued for the Clemson soccer program: Vic Burley, No. 61 within the ESPN 300, dedicated to Dabo Swinney’s Tigers on Wednesday.
Burley is a 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive deal with from Warner Robins Excessive Faculty in Warner Robins, Georgia.
“Simply the Clemson construction,” Burley informed CBS Sports activities HQ in an interview after making his announcement. “What they’ve there may be much like what we’ve right here at Warner Robins — the give attention to the participant and private growth there drew me in, too.”
He selected Clemson over his different three finalists — Georgia, Michigan State and Tennessee.
Burley’s dedication comes two days after linebacker Jamal Anderson, a fellow Georgia prep product and ESPN 300 prospect, pledged to play in Loss of life Valley.
“[Swinney] was simply saying, ‘You would play off the bat if you get right here and simply be dominant and assist us win video games,'” Burley informed CBS Sports activities HQ. “I simply purchased into it.”
Burley turns into the Tigers’ fourth ESPN 300 recruit within the 2023 class — becoming a member of quarterback Christopher Vizzina (No. 79), Anderson (No. 123) and defensive finish David Ojiegbe (No. 246).
ESPN 300 extensive receiver Nathaniel Joseph (No. 142), who had initially dedicated to Clemson in September 2021, introduced on Tuesday evening that he was reopening his recruitment.
